The Coming Days

3 emails by David about the times upon us. It starts with a word he received about the
"Rapture"--- T.

"There will be a 'pre-trib' rapture, David, but it is not at all as most men teach. No, the 'pre-trib rapture' is the rapture of the souls of My elect into my Presence. It is what I am doing NOW to bring My elect into a place of peace and rest in Me, and that so that when great tribulation comes the land, Mine will be a living demonstration to others of the life and peace and rest of God in Christ. When great tribulation comes to the land, David, My 'raptured' elect will not be tribulating, for they will be resting and at peace in Me."

A Word of Warning About the Coming Days

By David Weber

Just prior to 9/11/2001, the Holy Spirit made me aware of some devastating events that were to come to NYC, so I went to NY, and for two days I walked the streets of the city (alone and in tears) just praying for the people there. I shared at that time with some people in NY (it was the end of July 2001) that there was great devastation coming to a part of the city. I shared then that multitudes of people were going to be killed in some sort of disaster that was related to "terrorism," but I didn't get back much of a response from anyone other than just some blank stares, and some other looks that seemed to imply that the people thought me to be pretty nuts.

Honestly, I don't know why I was even there then, other than just to weep and pray for the people of NY, and to bear witness on earth to what the Father had revealed was coming.

Now, aside from all of that, the Holy Spirit has been indicating lately that there are some very tough times coming to the saints in the days ahead (especially the American saints), and that we all need to prepare our hearts now so that we might be able to ENDURE the trials, tribulation, and persecution of the coming days.

Though I don't feel led to elaborate much more on this here, I do feel led share with a you a short 12 minute streaming audio file from a brother on this subject. This recording should help you all to understand the divine purpose in the coming tribulation. I encourage you all to listen to this. -- D

Jesus or Barabbas?

I'm going to say just briefly here, that Jesus and Barabbas can be seen as two very different types of "Christians" to be revealed in the end of the age; those, who in the midst of great persecution and tribulation will demonstrate the love of the Father through the wisdom of the Cross (the laid down life of Jesus Christ), and those who will rise up as Barabbases - even as "Christian" militant zealots of the day who will think that their ungodly actions and behavior are justified in their fight against a distinctly antichrist system of government.

Even now, by the Spirit, we can see a polarization of these two very different types of people; those "Christians" who are heavily "churched" and who have much zeal and religious ambition but who bear not much fruit of the Spirit in their lives, and those who are really taking up their crosses, so much so that they are coming to a place where they love people with the whole of their hearts, and that, even to the extent that they will lay down their very lives for others when it is the lead of the Holy Spirit to do so.

Beloved, even now we are seeing many people who claim to be "Christian" but who, by their words and actions, show more of Barabbas than they do of Jesus. With their mouths these say "Give us Jesus!" but with their hearts they clearly express, "Give us Barabbas! We choose Barabbas!!"

I've seen some pretty awful things done and said in the name of Jesus Christ before, but even those things, I'm afraid, are nothing when compared to what is coming. It was the spirit of religion at work in unsanctified hearts that crucified our Lord Jesus Christ, and I imagine that it will be the very same spirit at work in men that will crucify us also (in whatever form that might come).

Beloved, look to the left of Barabbas in the picture below, and there you will see a very small figure with the glory of God upon Him. He is demonstrating there the wisdom of the Cross to rulers and authorities in heavenly places, which is our destiny too, beloveds,
IF we will just walk this thing out in the very footsteps of the Lord Jesus Christ. -- D

Gaining the Right Perspective

In regard to America's judgment, her people have broken the covenant that was made with God at the time of her formation. This nation has been greatly blessed and favored by God for reasons related to that covenant, but it has been broken. So, judgment will be great for this nation that has been given so much by God but has turned its back on Him to worship idols. Out from the ashes of this whole thing though will come forth a purified church that will walk with God as they ought to, which is as a people living as sacrifices and marching together in a powerful world changing demonstration of the wisdom of the Cross.

In order that the right perspective is maintained through all that is coming though, it is important for Christians be careful not to forget that we're ALL a bunch of idolaters who have not been living as we ought to. If we "Christians" were living as we really ought to, we would be regularly feeding, and clothing, and sheltering, the hungry, and the naked, and the homeless, instead of daily pampering our flesh as we do. If we were living as we really ought to, we would not be afraid to love and embrace the sick and infirm for fear that we might get what they've got, but rather we would be able to give ourselves unselfishly to others in a way that Christ might truly flow through us to them and then heal them. If we were living as we really ought to, we would not lust after personal comfort and material things and hold onto money as if it were our own, but rather we would hold all things in common with the brethren and there would be no one needy among us! The list could go on and on and on here, as you well know.

Sure, God is bringing judgment to this nation corporately, but let's not lose the perspective that through that (and even through all that leads up to that) He is going to judge each one of US individually just as WE need to be judged. There are no good guys and bad guys in all of this from God's perspective, but just human beings that have all been conciliated to the Father at the Cross of Christ (and some who have be "re-conciled") but who all are caught up in various stages of rebellion because of their carnal nature. Therefore, we all need to be dealt with in some measure by God at this time so that the Kingdom of God might come forth with power and great glory in the days just ahead. If we look at the judgment that is coming to this nation (and the world) in any other way than what I have described here, well, I'm afraid then that we too are in grave danger of becoming much more like Barabbas than like Jesus.

Beloved, God is going to bring us through some of the toughest times of our lives in the days ahead so that we might come forth as a people who are no longer self-righteous religious weirdos, but who are as PRINCES OF GOD who can rule justly in the earth, and who can then represent the Father to the world even as Jesus Christ did 2000 years ago! Man! That is gonna take some severe work, don't you think?!!

If severe judgment is what it is going to take for Christ to be truly and accurately expressed to people in the earth, well then, let me be the first to say, "Here I am God, start with me."
