Something to Share
(another testimiony from Toronto)

When Tim and I finally felt a release to get the hell out of that place (the club), excuse me, to leave that establishment of drinking and sensual dance, we walked out the door and out into the street where we immediately heard a women literally screaming at the top of her lungs. We stopped right where we were and just waited for a moment, and it wasn't long before we saw this poor tormented soul coming right to us.

Now, this poor woman was shrieking and screaming and gnashing her teeth the whole time that she approached us, but when she got right up close to us, she lunged at us as if she was a rabid dog trying to bite us in the face. She then let out the most blood curdling scream that I think that I have ever heard come out of any human being ... ever.

Tim and I then just started speaking the Name of Jesus over this lady and proclaimed deliverance over her by His blood, but she just quickly ran off down the street, screaming and gnashing her teeth all the way. Tim then asked me, "David, do you think that we should follow after her and perhaps cast the demons out of her?" Now that sure seemed like the right thing to do, but for some strange reason, I had no witness to do that. I knew that God was getting at something else through this, I just wasn't quite sure at the time just what that was.

Tim and I then went our way, praying in the spirit and speaking healing and deliverance over this woman in the Name of Jesus. I felt assured in my spirit that this lady was going to be delivered, but I still had a sense that God was trying to get at something else IN US first through this encounter.

Now, I know that this probably doesn't sound real exciting to you. Perhaps you would like this testimony a whole more if we just cast the demons out of that lady and then we all went out to dinner (that has happened before, by the way), but I want you to understand here that we are not in a day of doing great exploits and getting people "saved" as much as we are in a day of getting "saved" (to the uttermost) OURSELVES, and that so we might come to people in the coming days of great tribulation as mighty delivers from Zion! It is then, beloved, that we will do greater exploits than we have probably ever seen or experienced before. For now though, God needs to do a deep work IN US that we might be thoroughly prepared for all of that stuff. Do you get what I'm saying here?

Directly relating to all of this, the Lord spoke something to me yesterday when I asked Him about the woman in the street in Toronto. I asked Him then why it is that He didn't just have us just cast the demons out of that poor lady like He has had us do with others on other occasions. He then said to me, "I'm giving you a bit of a taste of the hell that is ahead for you, David. Though you weren't terribly rattled when that lady got into your face, the waters of your soul were still a little bit troubled, and that can't be in the days that are ahead. In the days that are coming, David, you are going to have be in a place of peace and rest in Me where outward circumstances have almost no effect on you whatsoever. Now, on behalf of the woman in Toronto, have the saints join their hearts together in prayer for her and I will deliver her. I wanted first for you to see though that there is still a lot of work that needs to be done IN YOU before you fully enter into My divine peace and rest, even as a pillar in the temple of God which cannot be moved."

Beloved brethren, I hope after hearing this that you might pray for the deliverance of that poor lady that we met on the street in Toronto, but not only that ...

Please also pray for the body of Christ, will you? -- that we all might get some sense of the urgency of the day that we are now in, that we all might realize why this is no time to be messing around with the world or even with our own soulish and selfish ways any longer, but rather, that we all might seek the LORD and His Kingdom of Righteousness with all that we've got now, and that so that we might help the wicked and the unrighteous and the tormented souls of the world find their way into the ever-loving Arms of Christ. That's really what we're here for, beloved ones. We've been chosen for such a time as this. We need to get prepared for a most awesome time of ministry ahead.

Oh, and one last thing ...

I feel led to ask for prayer for "Carl" and "Kevin," too; a couple of others who we met out on the streets of Toronto just recently. I'm not going to say anything about our meeting with those two beloved men here, for I'm sure that God will show you just how to pray for them if you will just pray.
