Our Cross

Hi Guys,

What are our limitations? What are the things that restrict us? What is our cross?
They are our physical, spiritual and emotional selves.

Do you have a 'weak' personality? Do you have a 'strong' personality?
Both are a limitation unto Him. Each one is a cross.

Do you get angry easily? Do you get saddened quickly? Are you indifferent?
All are limitations in His sight.

He asks us to take up our cross daily, yet we have died with Him on the cross.
Can we see that all things concerning us must be out-worked despite it's accomplishment in the heavenly sphere?

But where are we taking this cross from and where do we take it to?

Ah, friends - we take the cross of
'ourselves' and carry it daily to the one who has died for us!

'But where are we taking it from?'

It is 'raised'
from the dust and offered up to Him as a living sacrifice.

Mark 8:34 - 'take up' is the greek word -
airo - to lift.
Matt 10:38 - 'taketh' is the greek word -
lambano. Same word used for 'receiveth' in Matt 7:8 and Matt 10:8.

So 'to take up our cross' is to 'receive', understand, finally acknowledge who we are; and then moving forward with that knowledge, 'lifting' it up and laying in on the cross of Christ Jesus.

When did God start bearing
His cross for us?
The moment He said, 'Let us make man...' - the journey of the cross started.

Do we see that the out-working of this was
completing when the 'Word was made flesh', and its physical culmination was at Calvary?

But is that the final end of the cross of Christ?
I say, no.

'Then cometh the end when, He shall have
delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down ALL rule and ALL authority and power'. 1 Cor 15:24.

The efficacy of the Cross ends when all are returned; when creation resonates in harmony to Him who is The King of Kings.

For mankind lost that 'resonance' and dragged the entire created world down with him (as you can see when you look around and in yourself).

Do the scriptures not say, 'If in this life we have hope in Christ we are of all men most miserable'? 1 Cor 15:19.

There is hope beyond this physical life. There has
always been hope and there will always be grace!

Consider this today.

Stay blessed in Him,

Tony A.

Addendum
29th Sept 2007

Our King is doing glorious things at this very hour.
The "Crucible-ones" are beginning to become the very "flames" of God!

Let it be known Brethren, that another Priesthood is arising. Let it be seen Brethren that He who now letteth (2Thess 2:7) is coming into being! (Greek-
Ginomai for KJV "taken".) "Will let" is not in the original, it was added by the translators, hence is italicized in the KJV.

" 2Thess 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way."

"...until he be taken (ginomai - coming into being, become, cause to be i.e. generate) out of (ek - from, out) the way (mesos - middle)". This is He that comes to be right in the thick of it all!

This is no removal of the Holy Spirit for the anti-christ to be fully manifested! Never!!!

This is the Bright & Morning Star -- appearing in all His glory just at the point that the Wicked one is revealed (verse 9).Remember "
Even him" is also italicized. Our Lord will never leave us alone. Nor are we going anywhere! He will shew forth His glory right in the midst of the greatest wickedness that will ever have been seen on the earth. Our theology has been confused with a few extra words that shouldn't have been there in the first place.

There are 2 comings that occur at the same time: 1. The coming of the fulness of Christ Jesus. 2. The coming into fulness of the antichrist (the against-Christ company).

The first destroys the second! It will always be this way! Light will always win against darkness. Amen!

Our King cannot and will not be stopped by the mechanics of men. His Power cannot and will not be put down by the ravings of the beast!

His Cross is the standard! By it, we have been slain in Him. By it, we obtain victory as we take our own cross daily unto Him, laying ourselves down that Christ alone may be seen and glorified in all that is done through us!

Hallelujah!

Spread the Word Brethren: Our King Reigns and NONE can stay His hand!
