Jurisdictions of Power! Deliver us from evil!!!

Hi Guys,

A few wondered about the last bulletin [bulletins on myspace are internal messages that expire after 10 days] and the comment about warring with demons.

I will say it a little more clearly today.

(As I was completing this I checked my recent comments and they are filled with this Spiritual Warfare I am talking about! Thank you!!!)

The dark ones fall as lightening everyday not because of us binding their influences in the heavens, but BECAUSE of activities we carry out in the Name of the Lord upon the EARTH.

Our Lord said, "I saw satan fall as lightening... but don't rejoice about that...Rejoice rather that your names are written in Heaven" (the Book of Life - the very inscription of God upon our DNA! Conforming us into His Image. [there is more to DNA than just the molecules you can see under the microscope]) (Luke 10:18-20)

Notice our Lord's Words carefully, "I saw satan..." He did NOT say, "I see you satan falling..." He did not direct His thoughts to the devil.

Even in His direct temptation in the Wilderness , He didn't bind satan - He answered back with the WORD! Finally He said, "Get thee behind Me!" For satan must not be infront of our eyes. The Father is to be infront of us. We are to see ONLY our God. The enemy's jurisdiction is to work from behind (the mind realm), he has no authority to work infront of us acting as our "god". (The nations are under this false authority.) Jesus also removed the enemy's authority over the mind for those who receive Him.

Did you know that when we "proclaim to the enemy" we exalt him, and WE give him the right to inflict damage to our souls?

Oh that the Church of God would see this!

What were the disciples doing? They were doing what He told them to do: Luke 10:1

To "fall as lightening" is "to fall very quickly". He is not permanently disabled (that comes after the millennial age). His mission of bringing out all the darkness in man needs to be completed. He falls quickly from the 2nd heavens as these works are done. The more they are done, the less he is able to operate over lands and kingdoms.

Hence the reason why Apostle Paul turned cities upside down. Hence the reason why the fame of Jesus was known in the entire land (Mark 1:28)!

It is by these means the dark ones get to know us -- "Jesus I know, Paul I know..."(Acts 19:15)

The Wisdom of God (which is Jesus Christ) WILL be known to these ruling ones as the Church moves in the victory of the Lord (Eph 3:10)

Our jurisdiction is in direct combat. Not in indirect warfare. The indirect warfare is our Lord's domain. "Vengeance is mine I will re-pay!"

We thread upon serpents and scorpions AS they come into contact with us. We cast out demons WHEN those who are so troubled ask our help. We remove satanic influences over individual persons AS we are moved by the Spirit.

When Daniel was told about the Ruling dark one over Persia (Dan 10:13), he had not been praying "I cast you down Persian Prince!" He was crying for the land! (Dan 10:2)

I have been involved with such indirect warfare which I did without knowledge when I was younger. When others showed me the truth about Effective warfare, I saw the light.

But now when I engage the dark ones - this is how I engage: If it is Africa - I ask for healing, I ask for freedom, I ask for forgiveness, I ask for eyes to be opened, I ask for His Word to go forth with Power, I ask for Father to break the bands of the Leviathan (Job 41:1) -- It is by these means we engage with the Ruling spirits over Africa! And over any continent for that matter! It is by these means that they fall as lightening.

Make no mistake about: You WILL be attacked when you engage in the warfare our Lord wants us to do -- the dark ones have no right to, but they do it anyway -- we have the right to war back. But when you engage in indirect warfare directly (understand please!!) they have the legal right to attack! For we have given it to them.

Jesus taught us to pray, "Our Father.... deliver us from evil/the evil one"

This is the prayer the Church must pray when they encounter indirect (non- person-to-person warfare; whether that be a physical person or spiritual being):

"Father!!!"

Ask the Father to do it! Let our prayers be directed to the God of all battle. He is the One with the Authority in this jurisdiction. When we see an influence over a city -- let our hearts turn to the Lord for deliverance, for healing!

Spiritual warfare is this: Setting the captives free, helping the poor, healing the sick, binding up the broken-hearted, encouraging the downcast, spreading cheer with a neighbor, groaning in prayer for forgiveness for our lands, casting our demons from people. The list is endless. Spiritual Warfare IS praising the Father for the Son's victory over all realms by His death and resurrection. Spiritual Warfare IS worship to the Father by performing His Works given to us, NOT a proclamation to the enemy.

You say, "Those are 'normal' things! There's nothing exciting about that!"

Not true!

These were the works Jesus did. And this is how He wants us to conduct warfare!

We do not use the enemies tactics of intimidation, abusing, cursing. Our Lord has shown us a better way!

Jesus did not rail against the dark powers (even the Archangels don't - Jude1:9). He knew there were hierarchical spirits over cities and nations. He knew that Father had permitted them control over the earthly sphere when Adam gave it to satan (God didn't give it to satan) Yet He chose to teach us to pray only directly to the Father. He instead delivered those who were directly possessed/oppressed by them. Many of us have used the wrong tactics in our prayer times - calling the dark ones "fools" etc.. , as if that would make them scared of us. Remember that the gifts and callings of God are without repentance; hence the reason satan can still come among the Angels in their "Update Meetings" (Job 1:6).

We are not asked to inform satan directly of his behavior "Satan YOU are a liar!" We already know this. Why must we exalt him by saying it?

The Church seems to forget what the real norm should be many times. It is easier for some to physically fight the darkness of evil than turn on the light. Yet which one is really easier?

We are not asked to say "we attack all evil forces in the heavenly sphere".

For we wrestle not (grk - pale - vibrate. Derived from "ballo" - to throw) .. " (Eph 6:12) And Paul shows us how this wrestling is conducted -- BY PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD!

Thayer's Greek definitions tells us "pale" [pronounced pa-le] means a "contest between two in which each endeavours to throw the other, and which is decided when the victor is able to hold his opponent down with his hand upon his neck".

It is by this means we hold down the opponent : truth as our belt to keep us decent not naked; righteousness to defend our heart; our walk filled with the Peace of the Gospel; trust in the Lord as our Shield; our mind renewed by His Salvation.

John Paul Jackson in his book "Needless Casualties of War" said something like this: "We need to ask God's forgiveness in conducting warfare the wrong way, so that the 'right' of the enemy over us is broken". He then gives illustrative cases of ministers with rebellious children, miscarriages occurring, curses inflicted - all because of the wrong type of warfare.

Ah brethren. We have acted without knowledge, but our Father has been faithful even in our ignorance. May we have the eyes to see and the ears to hear! May we learn how to really wrestle!

The fields are white friends. The harvest is ripe.

In terms of "Whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven" (Matt 16:19; Matt18:18)-- check the context: 1. Peter had just proclaimed Jesus as the Messiah of God 2. A brother trespassing against YOU.

To bind in these verses is an "agreeing proclamation". Peter agreed with the Father ---"thou art the Son of God!". So that same proclaimation rings in the Heavenlies too!

In the 2nd verse, a brother or sister can agree with someone else "in the mouth of two or three witnesses..."

The idea of the "bind" in Matt 12:29 "bind the strong man" relates to being "tied down" and this is when you cast out demons. I don't know how the idea of "binding satan" as a phrase to proclaim started. There is no scriptural reference. Our Lord will still honour our words as He is patient with us. But don't just leave the dark one bound - he must be cast out!
