It is surely no coincidence that it was Elijah and Moses (a picture-type of "The Two Witnesses") who appeared in a vision with Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. The scriptures tell us that they were there to speak with Jesus about His "departure" which was about to be completed in Jerusalem (His death). In this, I hope that we can see that God is preparing an Elijah/Moses remnant to speak with the BODY of Christ today about their "departure" too -- something which must be completed before their resurrection and ascension unto glorification, and something that most all of Christendom seems to be running away from today.

Beloved, Elijah and Moses were up on the mountain with Jesus to talk with Him about His need to go to the cross and die, and God is raising up a remnant TODAY to speak with the Body of Christ about the very same thing! Whether this means a physical death for you or not, I don't know for sure. Who cares, really? Jesus said, "He who believes in Me, though he die, he cannot die!"

Friends, please understand that I write here about a process of SPEAKING with the Body of Christ about what lies ahead for them. This is not a matter of forcing anyone to do anything. God will not force anyone to walk to the end of the strait and narrow path that leads to the fullness of resurrection life. That must be a "freewill" offering. That is not mandated. Our Father is surely looking to bring many sons to glory (as those sons are His chosen means to deliver all of His creation from its bondage to sin and death), but if WE choose NOT to go all the way with Him in this process of our transformation into glorified SONS, then deliverance for His creation will just come through others and NOT through us. It's just that simple.

It is written, beloved ones, that many are CALLED but few are CHOSEN. This means that the call goes out to MANY, but very FEW actually RESPOND to the call. That call is to go to the CROSS, dear friends. Most every Christian in the world has heard this call to go to the cross. Honestly, though, just how many Christians do you think have actually and wholeheartedly responded?
