A series of emails by D. Weber on the Habitation of the Spirit within the saints. -- T
Not a Visitation ... a HABITATION!
David Weber
16th Sept 2007
Several of my friends have been telling me that the number "911" is being quickened to them these days. I think that the first thing that comes to their minds at these times is "9/11/2001," or "Revelation 9:11," but the Lord has shown me that through this number He is sometimes attempting to draw their attention to Amos 9:11.
Beloved, Amos 9:11 depicts for us a people who are to be FILLED with the indwelling presence and power of the Father even as Jesus was in His earthly ministry. These will be a people who will be fit for not just a visitation from God, but will be fit for His actual HABITATION. That seems to speak of the Spirit without measure being poured out, friends, and that upon a people who are yet in mortal bodies.
If what I'm hearing in the spirit is correct (and I fully believe that it is), God is going to have a witness to His power and His authority and His love in the end of this age like nothing that has been seen since Jesus Christ walked the earth 2000 years ago. This will be a manifestation of the CORPORATE witness of Revelation 11 (the two witnesses), and are those through whom the wisdom of the cross will be fully demonstrated in the earth, even through their being warred against, worn down, and even seemingly shattered and destroyed by the evil one, to then emerge as victorious recipients of the Kingdom of God; first-fruits unto God and to the Lamb in the glorious resurrection out from all adamic death.
Are you hearing this, friends?
The Old Testament saint Daniel was given a vision for this, but it was not something that he could understand as we can today because he did not have a revelation of the cross and could only process his dreams and visions with his Old Testament theology. WE though, should be able to see that the saints who are warred against and physically defeated in Daniel's visions are ultimately the victorious ones who inherit the Kingdom of God as first-fruits of the resurrection. These blessed saints may very well be overcome physically by Satan in the end of the age, but in that overcoming, they will actually overcome Satan himself. This overcoming of Satan is done by the blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony, and because they love not their lives unto death. Let me try to explain this further ...
There is a spiritual principle that I see worked out very powerfully in men when we go into the streets and alley-ways of our cities and share Christ's unconditional love and kindness. That principle is that LOVE BREAKS SATAN'S POWER OVER MEN. Now if giving out money, or food, or helping someone find shelter for the night can shake up Satan's kingdom (and God has confirmed that it does), then what do you think happens in the spirit realm when perhaps the highest form of love is demonstrated through men to men?
What kind of love is that?
Here ... meditate on the following verse for a while, and then ask the Father just why He might soon allow for the greatest wave of Christian martyrdom that the world has even seen ...
"Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
Beloved saints, Daniel was staggered to the point of illness by the limited revelation that he was given for this very thing that I write about today. Daniel couldn't quite process how victory could be won by the saints of God in their physical devastation. This is because Daniel understood not the wisdom and power of the cross as it is demonstrated through men to men. In a similar way, I don't expect those who do not yet have the mind of Christ on this subject to actually embrace what is written here.
It is only for the joy set before us, and by seeing from the eternal perspective of God in Christ that we can embrace the glorious destiny that God has prepared for us, friends. May we pray then, that by God's grace, we might not only be able to see from His perspective and embrace these things, but we will actually be able to endure such things -- all the way to the glorious and victorious end of this pathway that we know as THE CROSS.

What I have been describing lately is the very life that Jesus lived, and is the life that a remnant people will live out in the end of this age in perfect demonstration of the wisdom of the cross. In other words, what God demonstrated through His Son millenniums ago, will again be fully demonstrated through a corporate body of "sons" in the end of the age.
Beloved, Jesus came to defeat the works of the devil, and He legally did that on the cross at Calvary. What many Christians don't seem to realize though, is that Jesus has turned the outworking of that victory over to His church, and that outworking is something that will done in the exact same manner that the victory was legally acquired by Jesus 2000 years ago (by the power of God's love as revealed in the wisdom of the cross).
I hear some Christians today say, "All of creation is groaning in waiting for the sons of God to be revealed." They then say "Arise Sons!" as if they have actually attained to "Sonship," but just need to make themselves known to people. I have to laugh at this (with a tear in the corner of my eye, of course), because this proclamation is coming forth from people who are not (really) living lives laid down for other people. They're just being zealous. Surely, God has delegated for His Sons to gain the total victory over Satan in the end of the age (who currently holds all of creation in bondage), but that victory will be appropriated through "Sons" who actually walk in the maturity and the authority of Christ and who DO what they are called by the Father to DO! (these "Sons" don't just talk about it, or write about it, or hold conferences "about it" all the time).
The truth is, friends, the church has been given all authority and power over the evil one, but most all of the church has not appropriated what they've been given, and that is because they've not REALLY laid down their lives in a manner that is worthy of true disciples of Jesus Christ. We're married to the world and self-rule in ways that we can't even imagine ... so... God has a plan for drastic change ...
I have shared a bit with you recently about just what that plan for change is, and I know that it seems a paradox to some of you that a remnant people will be brought into the fullness of the overcoming life (even the first resurrection) through what looks like their utter destruction. But this is the wisdom of God as seen through the cross of Christ, and it only seems a paradox to minds that think as carnal men do (even as Peter, who, with honest and good intentions, counseled Jesus NOT to go to the cross).
I know that some of what I've been sharing lately is rubbing some of you (not the real you by the way) the wrong way (it's the right way -- it just feels wrong to the flesh). It feels that way, because the wisdom of man and the preservation of his flesh is diametrically opposed to the wisdom of God -- which is that we live as sacrifices unto God in the earth -- even as "sheep being led to the slaughter." By man's wisdom, man overcomes adversity by striking back when struck, or by vindicating himself when falsely accused. But this is not the way of the cross. No, the wisdom of the cross is a wisdom by which a man (as led by the Spirit) allows himself to actually be overcome by men in the flesh -- sometimes even to the point of death (as Jesus).
I'm not going to elaborate on this subject any further here now, but let me just say here in closing, that God has some very powerful redemptive purposes for men in the outworking of the things that I've been sharing with you. Please, seek the Lord on your own for some direct insight into this.
Bless you.

This is somewhat of a distillation of everything that I've shared over the past few days...
There is about to be made manifest the greatest expression of God in a people that the world has ever seen before.Yes, the Father is going to be expressed corporately, and in a measure of fullness that has only been seen before in Jesus Christ Himself. The Father then, by way of the wisdom of the cross, is going to entice Satan to war against this holy remnant (even as He did with Job), and the saints will experience a satanic onslaught of indescribable proportions; something that will even seemingly crush them and destroy them (does this not sound like Calvary?). These beloved saints of God WILL NOT be spiritually overcome in this though, but in a powerful demonstration of the wisdom of the cross to the powers and authorities in heavenly places, these will emerge as VICTORIOUS recipients of the Kingdom of God! -- GENUINE Sons of God - made ready for the culmination of the first resurrection in the fires of the end times tribulation, trials, and demonic persecution. Yes, beloved, what the Father demonstrated through His Son millenniums ago, He is going to do once again, but this time the demonstration is going to be through a corporate body of "Sons" who love the Father, and love others, even more than they love their own lives. THAT!, beloved ones, is the wisdom of the cross; foolishness to men, but the power of God in those being saved.
